Okay,So I told you about this thing my husband said would get us better gas milage. He made it and installed it into our car this weekend. Today we drove almost 100 miles (91.6 to be exact) to test it. First we started with a full tank of gas. then we drove around doing errands & such, then we went back to the gas station to fill back up. We used only 2.38 gallons of gas!
Yeah we got about 38 miles to a gallon! how sweet was that! That was 10 almost 11 more miles to the gallon..
He is going to make a few more adjustments and then I think we will get more miles. He said he is going to be making these kit thingys to sell for like 70 bucks or so..
I have to be honest I didn't think there was any way it would work..and well the proof is in the water...
I'll keep you updated on our progress to saving a bunch more money on gas!

Summer brings a lot of travel time for me and all I want to do is to stay at home lounging by the pool with my boys.So this year I have only taken a few trips away so I can spend most of the summer at the pool.
My boys have become half fish. Everyday they are required to do laps before they get to play. One of their favorite games to play is SHARK. All the kids at the pool join in this game. One kid is the shark and everyone else tries to swim to the other side before getting tagged. Once you are tagged then you help the shark in tagging others.
Summer will be over very quickly this year for my children.. Fort some crazy reason the Tulsa School sysem has decided to start school AUGUST 11th!! What are they thinking? That is way too early! We had plans until September plus I think they are going to spend so much money on air conditioning. Maybe I'll go back to homeschooling...HAA HAAA I'm not doing that again..No way! I would rather pay a teacher to school my kids...
Well we better head to the pool so we don't miss out on any day. Time is short.

Summer's Over! or should I say my kid's summer is over..Yup School has started.. My oldest started riding the bus to a new school.. My little baby looked so handsome in his school uniform marching off to the bus stop on his own... (well I did drive him to the bus stop, but he walked from my car to the bus) I never thought it would be this hard to let him go..
I thought I would have had a lot of time to catch up on things since they were going to be in school... But I didn't.. I stayed at the school almost all day helping the teachers and signing up people for our PTA.. Our goal this year is 100% membership....We are on our way...With the Mayor of Tulsa being one of our members!
Now how does this fit in with funny? Education is a funny thing and we learn things at our age levels.. I was driving the other day and my 6year old was in the back seat. As we passed a car lot advertizing their cars with balloons one of the red balloon s started rising...and with out missing a beat my kid said ,"look mommy it's evaporating!" to which my 7 year old said, "No it's rapturing!"
